The Dbilas Flowtec Inlet manifold has a much smoother flowpath and increases flow velocity into the combustion chamber over the stock item.
We strongly recommend this item be fitted alongside the Dbilas Exhaust manifold as part of a Phase 3.5 upgrade.
The fitting of the two manifolds at Phase 3.5 greatly increases flow into and from the engine and maximises the use of the available boost. Because the KO4 cannot safely produce more boost without overspeeding this is the ONLY way to increase performance.
The greatest gain with this both manifolds at Phase 3.5 is in midrange power. We have seen upto an additional 25ft/lb and 20bhp in the midrange!!!
Peak performance is also increased and you can see upto 305-310bhp as boost is maintained higher up in the rev range when coupled with Phase 3.5 Software.
Out on the road, in gear performance is transformed!

This part is recommended to be fitted alongside the Dbilas Flowtec inlet manifold at Phase 3.5 and aids the spooling of the stock VXR KO4 turbo and allows the turbocharger to maintain boost further up the rev range.
The Dbilas turbocharger manifold has more equal length runners than the stock item, a larger collector throat and the compressor housing is also enlarged over stock.

The standard bottom pulley is constucted around a rubber centre donut which is bonded to a steel centre section. Over time the rubber can split, which causes the pulley to wobble. This can throw the fan belt particularly on engines that are operating at high RPM.

Iridium Alloy
In a never-ending effort to improve upon success, Regal recommend an Iridium alloy that is superior to platinum based on hardness, strength and melting point. The new Iridium alloy is composed primarily of Iridium with rhodium mixed in for oxidation wear. Pure Iridium has a melting point of almost 700ºC higher than platinum, and had the greatest potential for resistances against wear. Iridium by itself is susceptible to oxidation wear at temperatures over 900ºC, however, ordinary driving around town an engine would never reach these temperatures. Further testing proved that Iridium alone would not meet the demanding standards. After testing other pure metals combined with Iridium, rhodium proved to be the best choice to meet the needs of performance spark plug engineers.
