The Team

The VF-Engineering management and engineering team derive their experience of high performance supercharging since 1996 in the UK. Working on modern sports cars such as Audi, BMW, Lotus, Porsche and VW in joint and proprietary projects and partnerships with firms in the UK, Switzerland and USA has given VF the opportunity to market product in European, USA and world markets. VF obtains the latest information and has access to new model vehicles as they roll off the production lines in Germany through OEM connections, clients and manufacturers' organizations.

VF-Engineering Advantage:

VF-Engineering works in alliance with industry leaders for the key elements which make up its supercharger systems. Fuel management and supercharger technology are the two major components which VF combines and create a fully tuned supercharger kit to integrate on your engine.

GIAC USA, write proprietary fuel management software which is 'flashed' over the original engine software in the Engine Control Unit. GIAC/VF software is based on extensive testing with new supercharger hardware and feedback given by VF's engineering team. Re-writing the ECU software is one of the fundamental aspects of providing an OEM quality solution for a re-tuned engine by means of forced induction. Also known as chip tuning, this is the same principal as used by all car manufacturers. GIAC USA are an exclusive automotive software tuning house whose expertise spans over 10 years. With contacts in OEM ECU manufacturers, GIAC stay at the fore-front of the latest versions and algorithms used in OEM software.

After a comprehensive development program involving thorough testing in various environments we are convinced that you will not find a superior Intercooler for this application.

Our development program included the use of many types of Intercooler core and end tank designs. At the initial stages we ran two development projects alongside each other, one an air to air Intercooler and the other an air to water Chargecooler system. The air to air development achieved significantly improved temperature reductions in comparison, which convinced us to solely concentrate on this option. At each stage of development testing was conducted using a vehicle in various states of tune. (With and without, performance software, supercharger reduction pulleys, bonnet scoops and performance air intake systems.)

With this Intercooler offering up to a 29% reduction over the original equipment it is a must for those wishing to increase engine power.
