The name says it all. Want more crisp and shorter shifts without increasing shift effort? This is it. Most other short shifters reduce the throw too much. Too much, that is they make them so short that the shift effort is exponentially greater than stock which causes them to feel notchy and very hard to shift smoothly. Our systems reduce the shift throw a modest 20-30% shorter, which is a fine balance of shift throw reduction and minimal increase in shift effort. EVO V-Flow High Flow Air Induction System - Evolution Motorsports proudly announces the release of the highly anticipated V-flow Air Induction systems for the 997/997S Porsche Carreras.

Engineered utilizing state of the art CAD CAM 3D modeling, CNC machining, computer controlled Superflow air flow testing, rotational molding, injection molding and countless man hours, these systems represent the apex of air induction technologies. All of our systems install in the factory location and utilize the OEM fresh air ducts for lower air intake temperatures and added power. Additionally, our systems also incorporate a custom cotton air filter and an injection molded Venturi that acts as a vacuum for cold-air.

All these components work together to create the most powerful Porsche air intake systems on the market today. Power is increased by about 10 - 12 wheel HP/TQ When combined with our specially designed computer upgrade, power is increased by up to 25bhp. Fits all 2005-2006 997/S Models. Patent Pending

NOTE: Don't be fooled by other air intake modifications on the market that claim to make power. We have spent over 8 months on the dyno, flow bench and with advanced computer modeling/flow software to develop this highly engineered system. By simply adding a silicone hose to the OEM air intake system will not increase airflow or power. In order to increase power with an intake modification, we had to engineer a 6" injection molded venturi and custom air filter which acts as a "vacuum" to increase the amount of air being ingested into the engine. This technology is commonly found on race engines to help aid in the intake efficiency and to add real power. Our system is GUARANTEED to make more power than those other "silicone hose" systems or your money back.

This complete engine tuning system was 100% ground up designed, engineered and manufactured in house. When we conceived of the idea in late 2002, our goals were set to create the world’s first complete production 750+ HP tuning system for the 996TT. This arduous task began with the purchase of a 996TT that was used for the ground up R&D process. Our concept for this power upgrade was to build a safe and reliable power upgrade that would maximize the potential of the flat 6-996TT engine. Some of the known hurdles were to strengthen the internal engine components, deliver enough fuel, air and software calibration to balance the system. The end result offers an extreme power level while maintaining excellent longevity and reliability under some of the harshest conditions.

GT 750 Motor Build Includes:
-Complete disassembly of engine down to the crank
-Inspect, size, spec out all parts including: crankshaft, pistons, valves, guides, cams, springs, etc.
-Inspect for unusual wear, measure all wear components to determine if they are within specifications and address any problems
-Sonic clean components and prep for reinstallation
-Inspect valve train and reseat valves with hand lapping method
-Install new GT3R racing high flow oil pump
-Install new crankshaft, intermediate, rod and main bearings Install new Carrillo Connecting Rods w/ multi torque rod bolts (carr bolts)
-Install new high strength aircraft quality head studs / hardware
-Install EVO designed high pressure head gaskets
-Install and gap new piston rings
-Install new OEM o-rings, seals and associated gaskets
-Build bottom utilizing OEM & EVO developed high power building procedures
-Time camshafts utilizing OEM timing tools
-Install all associated induction / top end components with all new gaskets and seals
-Secure and zip tie all vacuum / pressure lines as required for high power applications
