Corsa Rear Brace Bar Fitting

In order to fit your new Regal Autosport Rear Brace Bar for your Corsa VXR you will have to make some adjustment to your rear side panels to make for a factory looking fit.

Tools needed:

- Tape Measure
- 35mm Hole Saw + Drill
- Masking Tape for Marking + Marker
- Hacksaw

1- You will need to slide your tyre pump toward the rear of the car approx 4 inches to achieve clearance for the brace bar. The pump will sit in this position just fine.

2- Remove tyre weld, tow hook, screwdriver etc from its compartment and wrap in material that will stop vibration. Some of our customers use a drying towel or a clean rag. Place this in the compartment behind the rear lights and place the tyre pump hose reel on top.

3- Next is to modify the rear trim panels to allow clearance for the brace bar. 1st use the hole saw to make a hole in the panel, then elongate the hole with your hacksaw. Some finishing with a file or sandpaper may be desired to give a good cut line.

4- Now remove the rear seat mounting bolts, fit the brace bar using the longer bolts supplied with the rear seat mounting in place. Refit trim panels.
