Dbilas Flowmaster for Z20LET (and Astra VXR)
Some customers have asked us to compile a fitting guide for the Z20LET (And Astra VXR) Flow master Kits...here it is!

Not all Z20LET applications are the same, you have the Zafira, Coupe and Hatchback models which all need to be accommodated for.

This also largely applies to the Astra VXR kit, the method of filter mounting is the same however there are small hose route changes.

As such the brackets in the kit should be seen as a starting point, you must tailor the brackets to guarantee a perfect install. A simple twist of the filter housing is usually all that is needed to ensure a perfect fit.

This is your flow master kit.

Begin to remove the original air box and air hoses.

Now Trial fit your flow master housing with the brackets as they are supplied.

Now mock up the rest of the hoses, note the flexi hose coming off the filter housing - it is essential the hoses are in this order.

At this point, ensure the filter sits at around this angle and does not foul on the bonnet when closed. The filter housing may need to be 'twisted' on the brackets.

With the filter sat correctly it is now time to lengthen the loom to the AFM.

Simply extend the loom by soldering extra wire length and heat shrink the joints.

Now refit the loom tube and connect AFM, Fix all pipes with jubilee clips and route breather extension.
